Skamania Lodge - April 2009
One of my favorite day trips is to go up to Skamania Lodge in the Columbia River Gorge. Not only does it have fantastic views of the Gorge, but taking a walk around the grounds often finds baby turtles perched on logs like little copper pennies, and cute little ducks gliding along the ponds. It is a genuinely beautiful place.
